It is the goal of Merritt athletics to foster student-athlete development through sports by emphasizing qualities such as discipline, teamwork, and academic success, alongside athletic achievement.  We aim to create well-rounded individuals through rigorous training in a supportive and inclusive environment that will prepare our athletes for life beyond competition and empower them to make a positive impact in the world today.
